Dr Neil van Zyl qualified as a veterinarian in 1980. He started the Bethlehem Animal Hospital in 1984 and has specializing in cattle embryo transfer work in since 1985. Neil is a qualified embryo team leader, registered with the Department of Agriculture, Rural Development and Land Reform to import or export embryos to countries with a formalized protocol. In Vitro Africa came into existence when a franchise to apply the in vitro technique was obtained from In Vitro Brasil.
