Dr. Johan Coertze qualified in 2009 from the Faculty of Veterinary Science at Onderstepoort. After two years in general practice he joined In Vitro Africa. He went on to gain further experience in Brazil and focused on the oocyte collection. Since 2012 he has mainly done oocyte collection and manages the In Vitro Africa AI and Embryo station located in Paris.
Dr Neil van Zyl qualified as a veterinarian in 1980. He started the Bethlehem Animal Hospital in 1984 and specialized in cattle embryo transfer work in 1985. Neil is a qualified embryo team leader, registered with the Department of Agriculture to import or export embryos to countries with a formalized protocol. In Vitro Africa came into existence when a franchise to apply the in vitro technique was obtained from In Vitro Brasil.
